Snowshoe Hotels

There are many Snowshoe hotels, resorts and inns the interested traveler can stay in. Because Snowshoe Mountain is one of the biggest attractions in West Virginia, numerous inns have set up shop around the area. Aside from hotels, there are ski resort condos, chalets and cabins available. Lodging in Snowshoe Mountain is separated into the following sections.

The Mountain Base

The mountain base is at the base of Snowshoe Mountain, about six miles from the village. The Inn at Snowshoe is found here.

North Mountain

This is close to the Powderridge and Powdermonkey Lifts. Currently there are 11 lodging types available. They consist of the Camp Four Townhomes, Whistlepunk Townhomes, Powderidge Townhomes, Powder Monkey Townhomes, Stemwinder Townhomes and Land’s End Townhomes. Also available are Shamrock Condos, Sundown Hutches, Mountain Crest Condos, Pedestal House and Ridgewood Condos.

Silver Creek

This is near the Silver Creek ski area and found a mile away from the Central Village. There are two types of lodging available; the Creekside Townhomes and the Silver Creek Lodge.

South Mountain

This is between the Village and the Top of the World. The lodging options here are the Soaring Eagle Lodge, the Logger’s Run Townhomes, the Timbers Townhomes, Snowcrest Condos, the Leatherbark Condos, the Wabasso Townhomes, Treetop Townhomes and the Top of the World Condos.

Backcountry Hut

The Backcountry Hut is situated a couple of miles from Cheat Ridge. The Backcountry Hut is open seven days a week and offers many fine
amenities.

Village Central

The Village Central has seven lodging options. They include the Summit Condos, Expedition Station, the Seneca Condos, Highland House Condos, Allegheny Springs Condos, Rimfire Lodge Condos, and Mountain Lodge Condos.

West Ridge Homes

These are private homes set along the western slopes of the
mountain.

Tips for Finding Snowshoe Hotels and Snowshoe Lodging

Be wary of non-refundable hotel reservations. This may cost you a lot of money in case you decide to cancel or modify them. Take the time to study the cancellation policies. This will vary per hotel so compare them first.

An email will be sent after you make a reservation. Print this out and bring it with you to the hotel. Keep the email in the inbox. Do not delete it until your stay is over and gotten your bill.
